We’re delighted to announce the return of the Ampleforth Scarecrow Trail for its 4th consecutive year! This beloved community event invites residents and visitors to enjoy a charming walk through the village, discovering a wide range of creative and whimsical scarecrow displays.

About the Trail
Each year, local residents, businesses, and community groups come together to design and showcase scarecrows along the village streets. These imaginative creations bring the village to life and offer a delightful experience for visitors of all ages.

How to Get Involved
- Create Your Own Scarecrow: Entry is just £3 per scarecrow. Collect an entry form from Hearts of Ampleforth, fill one in online or scan the QR code.
- Submit your form and entry fee to Hearts or pay online to take part.
- Visit the Trail: Bring your family, friends, and pets for a fun day out. Don’t forget your camera!
- Vote for Your Favourite: Visitors can vote for the best scarecrow and help choose the winner.
- Purchase a Map: Trail maps will be available from 12th September at Hearts of Ampleforth for a small donation.
