🏕️ A Weekend of Scouting and Sunshine
The weekend began on Friday evening with the Opening Ceremony and Parade of Flags, where groups proudly displayed their colours. Leaders later gathered for a quiet coffee and catch-up before the first Lights Out of the weekend.
Saturday opened with Colours and Prayers, followed by the ever-popular Fitness with Phil, getting everyone moving and ready for the day. Three activity sessions ran throughout the day, featuring everything from fire-lighting to pioneering and creative challenges. After patrols completed their Gateway designs, the camp came together for a lively game of Beach Volleyball. The evening ended in traditional style with a Campfire, filled with songs, stories, and laughter.

On Sunday, campers took part in a reflective Morning Service, before competing in the much-anticipated Granville Run. The afternoon brought more fun with the Summer Holiday Games, and the evening programme featured the chaotic and hilarious End of Pier Games, topped off by the high-energy Disco and Air Guitar Competition. Leaders closed the evening with a social gathering to reflect on the weekend’s successes.
Monday featured the final set of challenges, with teams facing off in the Raft Race and the crowd-favourite Tug of War. The weekend closed with a heartfelt Closing Ceremony, celebrating achievements and friendships formed.
